Q. How long does it take to setup my account?
A: Account activations are provisioned instantly after
the payment of your order is completed, so you can get
started on your website right away.

Q. What's your network uptime guarantee?

Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all major forms of credit cards which

We also take bank transfer payments as-well.
Q. I want to signup but coming form a different host,
can you help with transfers?
A: Absolutely! We offer free transfer services. We'll
move your website files from your old host and we'll
even transfer the domain for you to our network. If the
account is very large then conditions may apply.
Q: Do you offer a site builder?
A: All our Linux shared-hosting packages come with a
Free website builder. We utilize RVsiteBuilder.
Q. Can I upgrade or downgrade my account?
A: Yes, your client area allows you to upgrade-downgrade
accounts, the great part is, once you select your new
package, its provisioned instantly for you. All you have
to pay is the difference between the two plans. The
upgrade or downgrade is free.
Q: Are there any setup fees or other hidden costs?
A: We guarantee there are NO setup fees or hidden costs
of ANY kind, you just pay the cost of the hosting plan
for 12 or 24 months, plus the cost of a domain name if
you need it.
Q: Is My Credit Card Information Safe?
A: Host 2 internet uses a third party credit card
processor, therefore we don't have access to your credit
card information. Host 2 internet does not store your
credit card information on our servers. The services we

Q: What control panel do you use?
A: Host 2 internet uses CPanel as our control panel
software.
Q: Where are your servers located?
A: Our servers are located in two datacenters in Dallas
and Houston, US.
Q: How soon the support tickets are answered?
A: All the tickets/support queries are answered within 8
hour but in most of the cases it takes only 30-60
minutes.
Q: For Hosting my site with Host 2 internet, am I
required to transfer my domain to Host 2 internet?
A: No, you are not required to transfer your domain to
us. You need to just change the Domain Name Servers
(DNS) setting with your current domain registrar.
Q: How long does it take for DNS settings to change
over?
A: DNS changes can take anywhere from 24 - 72 hours to
finish updating.
Q: Do I get my own CGI bin?
A: Yes. Every web hosting account gets their own
separate CGI bin by default.
Q: Do you have ImageMagic Installed on Linux Server?
A: Yes, we do have ImageMagic installed on all our Linux
Servers.
Q: Do you have GD Lib installed?
A: Yes, we have GD Library installed.
Q: Does your servers have FrontPage?
A: Yes our servers have FrontPage installed and you can
publish a FrontPage enabled site.
Q: Can you host all types of domain name extensions?
A: Yes we can host any valid domain extension.
Q: What WHOIS information would be available for my free
domain name?
A: We use a WHOIS protection service from our domain
Registrar which means that the contact details of the
domain owner are hidden from the public. If you want
your own WHOIS information to be publicly available, let
us know through a helpdesk ticket or Live Chat and we
would take care of it for you.
Q: How do you monitor your servers?
A: We use Nagios server monitoring software to check the
availability of our web servers every 2 minutes. The
moment a web server goes down, our technical team gets
right on it to fix the issue as soon as possible.
Q: Does Host 2 internet allow SSH access?
A: No, SSH is not allowed.
Q: Can I run an online store by using a shopping cart
software?
A: Yes you can and we provide many free shopping cart
scripts for you to use. You can even install them with
one click of a button. You would however need to use a
shopping cart that is based out of PHP scripting
language and MYSQL database software.
Q: Do you support shared SSL?
A: Yes we do support it.
Q: Does your server support JSP?
A: No we do not support JSP.
